I'm going to be honest: when we set €100K as a stretch goal, it felt a bit foolish.
Even if you believe in what you're making ONE-HUNDRED PERCENT, you still struggle to imagine writing the words "TWO-HUNDRED PERCENT".
Regardless, that's the milestone we just hit with your incredible support. The bonus chapter on the "Prepare To Try" series of Let's Play videos, which backers received as a digital exclusive, will now be added to the print edition.
Instead of spiralling into an orgy of self-congratulation, we've already started brainstorming ways we can use this investment to make both the book and its unboxing experience even more special for backers. The most authentic way to show our appreciation is to exceed your expectations.
Even though this is a Kickstarter for a book, we've been upfront about the fact that it's also the launch of Tune & Fairweather. We hope that You Died will be the start of a longer-lasting relationship between us and the 1,300+ people who've backed the campaign. We hope you'll love what we create next and stick around as we continue on this creative journey.
Just like the two snakes knotted up in our logo (see the milestone image above), we believe the relationship between creator and audience in the current era of technology can – and should – possess that same kind of intimacy.
